of course you can-- i live close by the site where we gather for earthdance- and all of us in these woods are naked in our gardens- the land is home to the hog farm which was a hippie mecca- now the folks that live there probably won't be topless but that is ok- we do all age like red wine-- anyways at earthdance you are encouraged to be whoever you are and express yourself in whatever way you want- see you there

I had a friend spend the weekend nude at Earthdance a few years ago. It was rewarding but was often challenged whenever passing the children's area in the festival area. Apparently children aren't able to see this without the defense of adults.

o.k. i just had to respond to this last reply re: children and nudity- i have 2 sons who have been to more rainbow gatherings than most people (my oldest was even born at the rainbow gathering) and i have raised them in no. cali where nudity happens especially at the river and so on- but even though nudity is nothing big to us here- still children around the age of 5 or 6 start feeling 'embarrased" regarding their own nudity and see others in that state- i think it is just a normal part of growing up- and parents are ofcourse protectors, so please don't read into it more than that--- but back to being topless no problem - but if you do run into a parent speaking up for a child who feels embarrased by it- well our children have rights too - it's all about being respectful to each other and i trust that learning to be respectful is why we gather together and then compassionate love flourishes
